TCL, curators of 2018’s International Festival of Landscape Architecture,‘The Expanded Field’, have launched a series of films featuring interviews with speakers from the event. MudMap Studio features in FutureWest magazine

The collaborative design process for Nyamba Buru Yawuru’s Liyan-Ngan Nyirrwa Cultural Healing Centre has been featured the latest issue of UWA School of Design's bi-annual print publication, Future West.

This issue considers the role that the regions play in an urbanised world. What learnings can regional developments can inform urbanisation in the capital cities - and the regions themselves?

Vanessa Margetts, director of MudMap Studio, spoke to Rosie Halsmith about the design, community art facilitation and landscape architecture process undertaken hand-in-hand with Broome community members.

MudMap Studio joins the conversation at the Festival of Landscape Architecture

MudMap Director, Vanessa Margetts, was recently invited to take part in the 2018 International Festival of Landscape Architecture at the Gold Coast. The theme of this year’s conversation was ‘The Expanding Field’, with Vanessa joining a conversation that considered the ways in which emerging landscape architects are reimagining practice in Australia.

In her presentation, Vanessa spoke about the central role that collaboration plays in MudMap Studio’s process and practice. Many thanks to this years Festival team for a great event, and for continuing an important conversation on multiple ways of working in landscape architectural practice in Australia.
