The collaborative design process for Nyamba Buru Yawuru’s Liyan-Ngan Nyirrwa Cultural Healing Centre has been featured the latest issue of UWA School of Design's bi-annual print publication, Future West.

This issue considers the role that the regions play in an urbanised world. What learnings can regional developments can inform urbanisation in the capital cities - and the regions themselves?

Vanessa Margetts, director of MudMap Studio, spoke to Rosie Halsmith about the design, community art facilitation and landscape architecture process undertaken hand-in-hand with Broome community members.

Thank you to Future West for shining the spotlight on this significant project.
